Normally our blog posts are about luxurious Central Florida weddings, Orlando outdoor weddings with sunset ceremonies, happy couples, and family and friends dancing the night away.
This time around our Lisa Stoner Events team stepped away from our central Florida home and our wedding planning to spend some time at the luxurious Ritz Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee. The chance to leave the pressures of daily life behind can be found just seventy-five miles outside of Atlanta. Set along 30 acres of shoreline and cradled by Georgia pines, this lakeside resort is a place of tranquility, exploration, and connection.
The “K Family” gathered family and friends for a 10+1 Bash, anniversary weekend; however, we were asked for privacy reasons not to share any personal family images.
This beautiful anniversary weekend was packed with multiple events and hundreds of pictures told the complete story of this family and their extended family; their most coveted and protected treasures.
The tone for the weekend was set by sending guests a beautifully engraved dark wood stained Save The Date by Dogwood Blossom Stationery.
Our weekend started with a luxurious outdoor welcome party where guests were invited to wear denim and diamonds. Whiskey barrels, wooden farmhouse tables, and organic florals were incorporated to create a rustic yet elegant space. Add in some comfort food under a canopy of lights and the stage was set for an awesome celebration.
Guests enjoyed a solo guitar performance by Brent McDonald during dinner and a group acapella performance by The Vocal Company, along with delicious desserts and s’mores
Everyone had some leisure time the next day to relax, enjoy the resorts spa or championship golf courses and lunch from a taco truck, with plenty of time to prepare for the evening event.
The Saturday night BASH brought the outdoors in by filling the room with lush, colorful hanging arrangements and wooden farmhouse tables with elegant table runners. Candles were nestled in beds of magnolia leaves and breathtaking overhead arrangements were added that contained hydrangea, brilliant bursts of colorful roses, rustic foliage and hanging amaranthus.
Guests danced the night away to an amazing eighteen-piece band from Atlanta, Big Swing and the Ballroom Blasters. This elegant anniversary weekend ended with a brunch the next morning.
