What a dream it was to plan Anabel and Juan’s wedding! Anabel and I connected from the start. She has an effervescent personality and is a true joy to be around. Her warmth is contagious and we had such fun going over the details, big and small, for their wedding day.
The mood was set before the big day with custom stationery, monogram, and wax seal by the ever-talented Siuleth of Eleven Note. My personal favorite touch was the illustration of Anabel and Juan’s beloved dog, Daisy, for the reception cocktail napkins!

Anabel and Juan got ready for their wedding in separate suites at the Four Seasons Orlando, where the reception would be hosted later in the evening. Anabel’s bridal style was feminine and romantic, she wore a beautiful gown by Rita Vinieras from Solutions Bridal Orlando paired with Manolo Blahnik heels. The groom wore an exquisitely tailored tuxedo by Leonardo Fifth Avenue.

The couple were married in a traditional ceremony at the St. James Catholic Cathedral near Lake Eola Park in Orlando, Florida. The Roman Catholic Cathedral features beautiful murals and we filled the ceremony space with white floral arrangements.

The bride was walked down the aisle by her loving father in a dramatic, cathedral-length lace train.

Just married! Anabel’s joyous spirit is on full display in this heart-warming image.

Back at the Four Seasons, the manicured hotel grounds served as the perfect place for couple and family portraits.

Of course, Anabel and Juan’s wedding portraits would not be complete without their beloved dog, Daisy. It was a big day for Daisy too, her paw-rents were married! She shined in a matching lace dress with Mom. Could these two be any cuter?!

After their portraits were taken, I snuck Anabel and Juan away from the cocktail hour for my favorite moment – the reception space reveal. I believe this image will go down in Lisa Lyons Events history as one of the best reaction shots EVER!

The entire ballroom space was transformed into a dazzling, glamorous reception. White florals by Raining Roses wrapped around candelabras dripping in crystals. Metallic accents abounded with gold chargers, silver chairs, and mirrored tables to reflect it all. Fyerfly Productions set the mood with soft colored gels mixed with pin lighting. It was very much giving “Be Our Guest” if I do say so myself.

Anabel and Juan’s first dance was framed by a floral lined dance floor. The couple danced “on clouds” courtesy of a well-placed fog machine. And, of course, we brought the drama for the finale with cool sparks, courtesy of Fyerfly Productions.

After the couple cut the four-tiered cake, the party started! There were lighted stilt dancers, fire dancers, light sticks, and crazy glasses. The guests danced all night long.

The aforementioned fog machine made a second appearance in the hands of Anabel!

The evening culminated in a massive confetti release, a must for any celebration in my opinion!

I know I talk a lot about details here, but if you are here and participating in this medium, I am pretty sure you’ll understand where I am coming from…
Weddings are more than “colors” and “themes.” Weddings are a communion, a reverent celebration, a story, (your love story!) and an experience for not only you, but for your family and friends to savor and remember for a lifetime.
The fact that this was Brittany’s sensibility when she met with me for the first time told me everything I needed to know and offered me the perfect charge! She and Barret had been on what I call the “wedding circuit.” So many of their friends and peers are getting married and it seemed as if they were going to a wedding every other month! Through these weddings she and Barret attended, she had seen, heard and tasted what seemed to be everything, and she wanted hers and Barret’s wedding to be signature, just like them! *wink.
First things first; starting the day relaxed and confident is the perfect approach to experiencing all of the beautiful moments that are ahead of you as the day unfolds.
This space here is to give you ample warning (and time to grab some tissues!) as to quite possibly the most emotional Daddy reveal I have ever seen. Now tell me these are not images that will turn into forever mementos!
Recovered yet? Shall I give you a moment? Here’s a sweet Bridesmaids reveal as you gain your composure!
How about a stunning look at Brittany’s processional, a sharp wedding party and some portraits of Brittany and Barret to look at while you take care of that pesky thing in your eye… *wink!
Brittany’s white, lush and romantic bouquet consisted of white garden roses peonies and, my favorite, ranunculus (seriously, I try to sneak them in every wedding that I am able!) against light touches of greenery. The trailing ribbons were soft, feminine and I loved how the bouquet moved with her in that striking Ines DiSanto gown.
I love that these portraits here are the perfect transition from the garden aesthetic from just outside Knowles Chapel to what we created inside the ballroom at The Alfond Inn!
So what sets this wedding apart from the others? Cue the details!
Designing a wedding reception in a ballroom needs particular attention to details that offer those 4 walls life. We opted for these tall centerpieces with cascading greenery and candles on top to offer a romantic and dreamy glow as guests dined.
I loved how the seating directory turned out thanks to Andi Mejia Calligraphy!
This wedding cake was very well deserving of it’s very own backdrop!
I had four custom trellis panels constructed where vines and greenery were interwoven throughout with touches of white florals creating a 10-12 foot canopy over our bars and cake. It was magical!
These chic, marble chargers with gold flatware and the vellum menu card with gold foil, were perfect, minimal, yet chic details-
First Dance, Daddy-Daughter Dance, Mother-Son Dance; give me alllll the dances!!
Brittany and Barret, this is one I shall never soon forget! Your confidence and trust made my “job” so worthwhile, and I loved watching this beautiful day unfold for you!
May you forever wear these same smiles! xx, LS

Alexandra & Andreas | Ritz Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes
Allie and Andy had originally considered getting married on a cruise but decided not to so that more family and friends could attend the wedding.
Our Lisa Stoner Events team worked on a few design concepts with Allie and Andy and eventually landed on the perfect fit. Andy comes from a Greek family and incorporating a classic olive branch theme throughout the wedding was just the right touch.
Allie chose a beautiful lace ballgown with a cap sleeve and a full chapel length train cascading from a crystal hair band. She chose bright flowers including peonies and roses with touches of greenery for the bouquets.
Andy wore a classic black vested tuxedo with a white rose boutonnière and a pocket square.
The entrance to their ballroom wedding ceremony started with oversized arrangements of brightly colored flowers atop wrought iron columns. The aisle of white chivari chairs framed rows of petals and a custom monogrammed aisle runner, bringing in the olive branch motif.
A luxurious wedding arch of foliage and brightly colored flowers, flanked by lighted trees stood out against a background of soft grey draping.
Andy’s smile was ear to ear as he waited for his bride’s arrival; the two exchanged their vows and sealed them with a kiss.
Allie and Andy took a sneak peek at the reception design while guests enjoyed the cocktail reception. To say that they were overwhelmed might be an understatement.
The space for dinner was separated from the dance floor with a crisscrossed draping and soft lighting. A communal table large enough to accommodate the couples’ immediate family of 46 anchored the reception space.
Clear chivari chairs and warm grey tone linen allowed the tabletop design and wedding cake to pop against the backdrop. The brightly colored floral centerpieces, pillar and votive candles in metallic containers filled the tables.
Charger plates layered with grey napkins and custom menu cards with olive branches completed the look.
Allie and Andy’s first dance to ‘Fall Away’ by Bobby Lord, Allie’s grandfather, was just the beginning of a wonderful night of dancing.
Thank you to all of the wedding vendors who helped create this dream wedding.

Tehsina and Ghadeer | Ritz Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes
“A smile is always in fashion” is the most perfect quote to describe this fashion forward Orlando multi-cultural wedding celebration.
Seeing Tehsina and Ghandeer smile at each other at their First Look is to know just how much in love they are. They quite literally smile, giggle and look lovingly at each other all the time
An Orlando destination wedding was perfect for this cosmopolitan couple. Tehsina is the biggest Disney fanatic and has been since she and her family traveled here from Canada when she was a little girl. Her family traveled from Canada and England with Ghadeer’s family traveling from New York and the couple traveling from Boston for the wedding planning.
The elements of this chic stylish wedding design reflect Tehsina’s Muslim heritage as well as Ghandeer’s Arabic family background.
Her stunning Oscar de la Renta taffeta gown with fleur sequin and floral lace overlay, an illusion neckline, and three-quarter length sleeve were all beautiful touches for this modest gown.
Tehsina carried a long cascading bouquet of Italian ruscus, white ranunculus and several dozen fragrant stephanotis; the perfect accent to her simple, elegant wedding gown. The best part? It was an exact replica of her mother’s bridal bouquet that Jesus with Raining Roses expertly created. The look on Tehsina’s mother’s face when she (surprise!) first saw the bridal bouquet is what a wedding planner’s dreams are made of!
Even after a First Look and some private time together, Ghadeer, looking smashing in his Tom Ford tuxedo, smiled lovingly as his bride made her entrance escorted by her parents.
Beautiful contemporary arrangements of giant white calla lilies and monstera leaves in tall glass vases filled the aisle to the Ritz Carlton’s gazebo, draped in soft, flowing white fabric.
Modern Lucite boxes topped with geometric cubes and cascading white hydrangea and hanging amaranthus flanked the couple as they exchanged vows.
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the Tuscany Terrace while the newlyweds took a sneak peek at the luxurious, modern reception décor.
Simple black linen allowed the modern metal and glass risers filled with cylinders of floating candles and breathtaking white calla lilies to take center stage. Tall contemporary arrangements connected long guest tables surrounding the custom black and white dancefloor.
The look was completed with gold chairs, gold embellished glass chargers topped with monstera leaves and custom designed menu cards, and a sleek, marble veined wedding cake.
Tehsina and Ghadeer made a grand entrance with a Zaffa, a wedding march of crossed swords, dancing and drums; an ancient Arab tradition.
After an evening of dinner and dancing the newlyweds made their dramatic departure through a shower of sparklers.

Yonna and Jay | The Alfond Inn
Yonna and Jay met later in life; Jay was a widower, and when they found each other, believe it or not, they actually lived on the same street.
They have worked hard to successfully blend two families of grown children and grandchildren to the point where it is nearly impossible to tell whose is whose. A large extended family vacation before the wedding set the tone for the big day to come.
To that end, one of the things of utmost importance, when Yonna and Jay came to Lisa Stoner Events, was to make sure every family member or guest felt included and loved. They did not want a typical wedding reception; they wanted more of a dinner party where two people happened to get married.
Yonna’s gown was custom made by Holly Smith with Tears of Joy Seamstress. Yonna and her sister Star made a number of trips to Miami to source the fabric for this beautiful embellished lace gown.
Jay looked dapper in his classic black tuxedo with bow tie and monogrammed cufflinks.
Family and friends were welcomed with lovely embellished jute tote bags filled with treats and information on the wedding and farewell brunch.
Their First Look was touching, much like our first meeting where they looked lovingly into each other’s eyes, held hands and called each other their Everlasting Love.
Their outdoor wedding ceremony in The Alfond Inn’s Courtyard was held in the round with Yonna and Jay exchanging their vows on a raised platform in the center. The stage for this beautiful downtown Winter Park wedding ceremony was set with clear chivari chairs and oversized white floral arrangements with touches of greenery.
In typical fashion, the couple got a sneak peek of the ballroom décor; but remained in the room to welcome family and friends, rather than making a grand entrance.
For this elegant dinner party, the Alfond’s Ballroom was wrapped in fabric draping and soft warm up lighting and candlelight. Clear glass trumpet vases topped with explosions of white flowers, smaller crystal vases, glass candlesticks and beaded glass chargers lined long family friendly tables.
Yonna and Jay opened the dancefloor with their First Dance to ‘At Last’ and the band kept the dancefloor full throughout the evening. Guests closed out the night with the cutting of the beautiful four tiered wedding cake.
Thank you to all the vendors who helped make this milestone family event such a huge success.

Four Seasons Resort at Walt Disney World Resort
I have been struggling all week to come up with words to describe what this wedding looked and felt like for me, this couple, and their families…“Practically Perfect” is what keeps coming to mind!
Hailey and Connor have attended many weddings and came to Lisa Stoner Events wanting some signature elements that would create a memorable Central Florida wedding. These elements would have their family and friends talking about their wedding for years to come.
Connor was a standout wearing this show-stopping Ocean Blue custom suite designed by Balani of Winter Park.
Hailey wore an absolutely incredible Pronovias gown that pairs a crepe skirt, a fabric with beautiful flow and drape, that hugged her body and created a sleek silhouette; and a tulle bodice, embroidered with Chantilly lace appliques and beading created the illusion of an almost nude neckline that accentuated her femininity.
The perfect accents to this gowns sleek silhouette were a fantastic pair of Jimmy Choo’s and an oversized, loose, flowing bridal bouquet; consisting of pink peonies, full creamy roses, blush and white ranunculus, anemone, sweet pea and eucalyptus with thick, cascading satin ribbons.
Hailey and Connor had their First Look on the Four Seasons Orlando’s Grand Staircase. Then they took some time for some breathtaking wedding portraits and some time alone before their wedding ceremony.
Their wedding ceremony took place just before sunset and wowed guests as they approached the resorts sprawling lawn. Set with white chivari chairs, the aisle was roped off with a thick broad garland of greener strung between two lush, loose arrangements of blush and white in beautiful garden urns.
Both sides of the aisle were lined with full, thick clusters of greenery and white hydrangea setting the perfect stage for the entrance of the wedding party, and Hailey’s entrance brought tears to Connor’s eyes.
The couple exchanged their vows in front of a massive arch of soft natural greenery accented with randomly places clusters of white flowers.
Even Hailey and Connor were surprised as they departed their outdoor wedding ceremony in an explosion of confetti.
Guests made their way to the breathtaking Four Season’s ballroom, draped with shimmering white opaque fabric. Guests dined at round tables with cascading slate blue linen, clear Infinity Chairs and beautiful towering centerpieces that drew inspiration from Hailey’s bridal bouquet.
Hailey and Conner know their guests very well, so the key to everyone having an awesome time was the huge twenty-four-foot round, white dance floor placed in the adjacent space, drawing guests in with a fantastic band, photo booth, and chic lounge furniture.
Their Four Seasons Orlando wedding was filled with the perfect balance of beautiful details, unique elements and touching personal moments.
Guests ended their evening with late night drinks and snacks under a shower of shimmering gold confetti.
However, Hailey and Connor had one more surprise in store: A Grand Exit in an incredible 1958 Lincoln Continental MK III Convertible in a shower of fireworks.
Thank you to all of the vendors who collaborated with our Lisa Stoner Events team to create this amazingly memorable wedding!
