Isleworth Golf and Country Club
Sarah and Michael met at school in Texas and both are Geologists, studying the earth’s physical structure and substance. So, in order to design a wedding that rocked their world, Lisa Stoner Events and our curated team of Central Florida Wedding Professionals really focused on textures and organic elements.
Sarah chose to wear a beautiful Hayley Paige, moondust organza, A-line bridal gown, with a beaded neckline and sheer open back. She carried a stunning textured bridal bouquet of huge King Protea, full light pink roses, blue Scottish thistle and white anemone framed by soft grey dusty miller. Her wedding party wore soft blue-grey bridesmaid’s dresses and carried bouquets that matched Sarah’s.
The lawn at Isleworth Golf & Country Club in Windermere was the perfect location for their wedding. A simple, late afternoon, wedding ceremony was held facing the club’s freshwater lakes with native Florida grasses and cypress trees as the backdrop. Sleek white boxes topped by crystal trumpet vases of lush greenery accented with unique soft pink flowers added a pop of texture and framed the couple exchanging their vows.
After sealing their vows with a kiss, guests showered the happy couple with confetti.
Following the ceremony, Sarah, Michael and their wedding party took portraits against the backdrop of the lake as well as on the club’s lakefront dock. Guests watched while enjoying a cocktail reception from the outdoor terrace.
The Isleworth Ballroom was the perfect setting for this wedding; the architectural elements of the columns with soft white lighting, the vaulted ceilings with hand cut wood beams, wrought iron accents and rustic lantern chandelier touched on all of the elements of texture.
Round guest tables anchored the room with tall crystal vases with an explosion of white dendrobium orchid stems. In the center of the room were long, rectangular tables with low, flowing arrangements tying in the same flowers as Sarah and the bridesmaids’ bouquets. Our team tied everything together with slate lamour floor length linen, matching napkins and seat cushions on crystal chiavari chairs. The tables were accented with chunky pillar candles, mercury glass votive candles, textured glass chargers with a gold band, hammered gold napkin rings and dark slate custom menus.
This wedding was the perfect example of listening to your couple, developing the perfect team of wedding professionals to design a luxurious wedding with elements that truly reflect the couple and their personalities.
