Allie and Andy had originally considered getting married on a cruise but decided not to so that more family and friends could attend the wedding.
Our Lisa Stoner Events team worked on a few design concepts with Allie and Andy and eventually landed on the perfect fit. Andy comes from a Greek family and incorporating a classic olive branch theme throughout the wedding was just the right touch.
Allie chose a beautiful lace ballgown with a cap sleeve and a full chapel length train cascading from a crystal hair band. She chose bright flowers including peonies and roses with touches of greenery for the bouquets.
Andy wore a classic black vested tuxedo with a white rose boutonnière and a pocket square.
The entrance to their ballroom wedding ceremony started with oversized arrangements of brightly colored flowers atop wrought iron columns. The aisle of white chivari chairs framed rows of petals and a custom monogrammed aisle runner, bringing in the olive branch motif.
A luxurious wedding arch of foliage and brightly colored flowers, flanked by lighted trees stood out against a background of soft grey draping.
Andy’s smile was ear to ear as he waited for his bride’s arrival; the two exchanged their vows and sealed them with a kiss.
Allie and Andy took a sneak peek at the reception design while guests enjoyed the cocktail reception. To say that they were overwhelmed might be an understatement.
The space for dinner was separated from the dance floor with a crisscrossed draping and soft lighting. A communal table large enough to accommodate the couples’ immediate family of 46 anchored the reception space.
Clear chivari chairs and warm grey tone linen allowed the tabletop design and wedding cake to pop against the backdrop. The brightly colored floral centerpieces, pillar and votive candles in metallic containers filled the tables.
Charger plates layered with grey napkins and custom menu cards with olive branches completed the look.
Allie and Andy’s first dance to ‘Fall Away’ by Bobby Lord, Allie’s grandfather, was just the beginning of a wonderful night of dancing.
Thank you to all of the wedding vendors who helped create this dream wedding.

What can I say about this gorgeous couple that hailed from Bermuda to offer me the distinct honor to plan and design their traditional, yet chic white wedding with perhaps a *splash* of color thrown in by yours truly?
I think Stacey’s initial reaction at her ballroom reveal here says it all, no? *wink
But– there was so much more to their wedding than that. It was emotionally, romantically and thoughtfully charged wedding and the design touches were only just a part of that.
Hence, the importance of video!
Pour yourself a glass (or a mug!) and do yourself a favor, and watch these sweet highlights from Stacey and Ricky’s gorgeous wedding day!

You may recall seeing the über chic blush and gold wedding of Caroline and Harrison in this previous blog post, but here it is living and breathing in this emotional wedding video feature!
I could listen to the powerful voice of Dr. Howard Eddington, who presided over their wedding ceremony all day long, as well as tearfully watch Caroline squeeze Harrison’s arm and their seemingly stolen glances at one another as they were getting married. *swooon!!*
Be sure to click on the HD option as you take a few minutes to enjoy this grand, yet meaningful and personal wedding day!

Amanda and Aaron’s Alfond Inn Wedding
Amanda and Aaron tied the knot this spring with a perfectly pink garden inspired Alfond Inn wedding. As if working as a full time nurse and pursuing a master’s degree in nursing wasn’t enough of a handful, I met Amanda when she was also juggling the wedding planning process. She recently moved from Texas to Orlando following her engagement to Aaron, and didn’t know a soul. What she did love was her home with Aaron. Her favorite place to daydream and have a glass of wine after a long day of work and studying was their backyard deck. She loved getting to sit still in the moment with her beloved and gaze at the trees under the twinkle lights. There was something about that favorite place of theirs that melted the worries of the world away.
Their Spring Garden Inspired Design
When Amanda came to me to for help, I knew right away that I wanted their big day together to tap into their favorite place in an elegant and enchanting way that they’d remember for their lifetime to come. Together we were able to create a breathtaking event that truly astonished guests. Needless to say, their beautiful outdoor courtyard ceremony resembled the beauty of a botanical garden with the help of Fairbanks Florist‘s Lana Faulkner. It was complete with whimsical arrangements atop wrought iron columns that lined the bride’s pathway. Not to mention, the bouquets and the bridesmaids’ dresses complimented one another perfectly as a color palette match made in heaven. (I mean, who doesn’t love blush and greenery together?) Amanda’s bouquet was adorned with a blush ribbon that had the perfect portrait look flowing in the wind.
Meanwhile, their indoor garden reception design complete with bountiful greenery, wooden accents, and twinkle lights made this elegant Winter Park, Florida boutique hotel venue feel better than home to this blissful couple. The space featured hanging greenery, garlands, and trees that really transformed the ballroom space into an whimsical garden while the abundance of candles created an intimate space that was nothing short of romantic. Along with the gold accent of the chiavari chairs, the glass chargers, and the elegant greenery inspired curved menus to compliment their blush palette, their reception space was the perfect balance of whimsy and sophistication.
Congratulations, Dr. and Mrs. Campbell!
If you couldn’t tell by the scrunched nose smiles and her eyes twinkling like the lights of their reception space, these two love each other deeply. One of my favorite things about their day is that it really spoke to who they were as a couple. While we were able to share their beloved outdoor space with their closest family and friends in a way that exuded pure romance and whimsy, we infused Amanda’s Caribbean roots by having a Junkanoo band play their entrance into the reception. Not to mention, their wedding was also a dream to pet parents everywhere as they were able to include their fur babies in on the paw-fect celebration!
Amanda and Aaron, I am so honored that you chose me to be a part of your truly magical wedding day. You are absolutely the sweetest couple and were such a joy to work with. I hope to have more couples who radiate as much pure love as you in the future. I wish you all the happiness and well wishes in the world as Dr. and Mrs. Campbell!
“If I had a flower for every time I thought of you, I could walk in my garden forever.” – Alfred Lord Tennyson
