Irene and David | Citrus Club
Irene is a very hip, style-savvy, metropolitan woman, so including a city skyline was an important design element for her, and The Citrus Club in downtown Orlando checked all the boxes.
Working with our Lisa Stoner Events team, Irene and David designed a beautiful, Jewish wedding ceremony and an elegant, stylish wedding reception with breathtaking views of the city.
The stunning clear acrylic chuppah was the backdrop to a beautiful Jewish wedding ceremony. It was anchored with flowing clusters of hydrangea, blush roses and white phalaenopsis orchids.
This chuppah was my favorite design element of this beautiful wedding; Fairbanks Florist did an amazing job of bringing the white dendrobium orchid curtain I conceptualized to life.
Irene wore a beautiful strapless lace wedding gown with a sweetheart neckline, the perfect complement to her handtied white rose, peony and bright pink ranunculus bridal bouquet.
David looked very handsome in his classic tuxedo with a white jacket, black bow tie, and bright pink boutonniere.
While guests enjoyed themselves during cocktail hour, our team was able to transform the ballroom from ceremony to the stage for dinner and dancing.
While the transformation was happening, Irene and David spent some time together outside for some amazing photographs in downtown Orlando.
The focal point of the ballroom was the stunning chuppah, repurposed to display Irene and David’s luxurious four-tiered wedding cake. The white quilting with crystal accents, sparkling gold, and soft pink and white floral accents stood out against the shimmering night skyline.
Long guest tables were draped to the floor with sparkling mauve glitz linen, mirrored panels, votive and floating candles in clear glass. Tall glass cylinders with pink and white floral arrangements completed the tablescapes.
The reception began with Irene and David’s first dance to Dean Martin’s “Ain’t That A Kick In The Head”, followed by a vibrant hora and a wonderful evening of dinner and dancing.

Sarah and Andy | First United Methodist Church | Dr. Phillips Center
Breathtaking weddings are made of details; not just the beautiful details, but when you are truly lucky, the details that are meaningful as well.
Recently, our Lisa Stoner Events team had the pleasure of working with Sarah and Andy to plan their spectacular downtown Orlando wedding.
Their wedding ceremony was held at the historic First Methodist Church of Orlando with its shimmering marble and colorful stain glass altarpieces.
Sarah wore a beautiful Romona Kevesa strapless tulle ball gown with a beaded lace bodice and sweetheart neckline.
For her bouquet, Sarah wanted orchids. As a schoolteacher, the orchids held a strong meaning; her students frequently gave her orchids as gifts. Her beautiful cascading white phalaenopsis bouquet, the perfect accent to her tall slender frame, and was a detail that carried through the entire wedding.
Sarah’s bridal party wore soft pink bridesmaid’s dresses and carried handtied bouquets of off white and antique pink roses, white dendrobium orchids, and a white phalaenopsis from her bouquet.
Andy and his groomsmen chose a classic look, but had a little fun with some uniquely personalized socks.
Another beautiful detail, that went unnoticed by many, was found in both Andy’s boutonniere as well as his mother’s corsage. Included in each of their personal flowers was a small piece of one of his father’s shirts. A silent, personal remembrance as his father had passed away unexpectedly shortly before the wedding.
As guests arrived for the wedding reception at the amazing Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, they enjoyed a little fun during the cocktail reception with personalized cocktail napkins printed with Fun Facts about Sarah and Andy.
To say that Sarah and Andy were speechless after seeing the transformation of their reception venue might be an understatement.
This sleek, modern, almost industrial space with floor to ceiling windows and unparalleled views of downtown Orlando was softened with draping, warm lighting and a color palette of light grey and pink.
A breathtaking chandelier of flowers and soft lights was installed as a focal point over the dancefloor, centering the space. The dancefloor was flanked by a long head table on one side with a soft geometrically patterned linen, clear glass cylinders of candles, silver mercury glass and soft pink and white floral bouquets.
Round guest tables balanced the other side of the dancefloor, draped in light grey linen accented with arrangements of white hydrangea, soft white and pink roses, orchids and dusty miller. Clear glass chargers with silver rims, custom designed menu cards, crystal chivari chairs, and a romantic five-tiered wedding cake of quilting and lace completed the design.

Grand Bohemian Hotel Orlando – Roof Top Deck | Johann Strauss Ballroom
Lia and Lisa are the best and I loved working with them; they are a wedding planner’s dream client because they put so much trust in me and really followed my lead.
They wanted a glamorous, non- traditional, black tie wedding and this clean modern design with a plum and grey color palate really set the stage for the chic, urban wedding.
The Grand Bohemian Hotel Orlando in downtown Orlando offered beautiful outdoor locations for stylish cityscape portraits and wedding party photographs.
The Grand Bohemian’s rooftop pool deck set the stage for an elegant sunset wedding ceremony. The white wedding tent was layered with white draping and white carpeting accented with beautiful crystal chandeliers and crystal chivari chairs. The only pop of color was the brides’ beautiful hand tied aubergine calla lily bridal bouquets.
Each of the ladies selected a bridal party of close friends, with the ladies carrying burgundy black calla lily bouquets.
Photographer Kathy Thomas worked with us to design a Vanity Fair like photo studio where guests were able to get styled, dramatic portraits.
Lia and Lisa were awestruck at the Lisa Stoner Events team’s transformation of the Grand Bohemian’s Johann Strauss Ballroom.
Soft room draping, elegant up lights and pin spots highlighting the centerpieces and wedding cake; as well as two long tables anchoring the space, flanked by round guest tables really set the stage for this clean, modern plum and grey wedding design.
Plum linen alternated with grey and white geometric patterned linen were layered with clusters of white floating candles, rectangular mirrored boxes and tall trumpet vases filled with lush tropical greenery tying in some of Lisa’s Puerto Rican heritage. Tiny pops of dark plum calla lilies added a touch of elegance and pulled in the colors of the bridal bouquets.
The ladies started the evening with their first dance to “Truly”, by Lionel Richie and danced the night away. Guests enjoyed cake pops, sweet treats, and late night wedding munchies in addition to their wedding cake.
Congratulations Lia and Lisa!
