Four Seasons Resort at Walt Disney World Resort
I have been struggling all week to come up with words to describe what this wedding looked and felt like for me, this couple, and their families…“Practically Perfect” is what keeps coming to mind!
Hailey and Connor have attended many weddings and came to Lisa Stoner Events wanting some signature elements that would create a memorable Central Florida wedding. These elements would have their family and friends talking about their wedding for years to come.
Connor was a standout wearing this show-stopping Ocean Blue custom suite designed by Balani of Winter Park.
Hailey wore an absolutely incredible Pronovias gown that pairs a crepe skirt, a fabric with beautiful flow and drape, that hugged her body and created a sleek silhouette; and a tulle bodice, embroidered with Chantilly lace appliques and beading created the illusion of an almost nude neckline that accentuated her femininity.
The perfect accents to this gowns sleek silhouette were a fantastic pair of Jimmy Choo’s and an oversized, loose, flowing bridal bouquet; consisting of pink peonies, full creamy roses, blush and white ranunculus, anemone, sweet pea and eucalyptus with thick, cascading satin ribbons.
Hailey and Connor had their First Look on the Four Seasons Orlando’s Grand Staircase. Then they took some time for some breathtaking wedding portraits and some time alone before their wedding ceremony.
Their wedding ceremony took place just before sunset and wowed guests as they approached the resorts sprawling lawn. Set with white chivari chairs, the aisle was roped off with a thick broad garland of greener strung between two lush, loose arrangements of blush and white in beautiful garden urns.
Both sides of the aisle were lined with full, thick clusters of greenery and white hydrangea setting the perfect stage for the entrance of the wedding party, and Hailey’s entrance brought tears to Connor’s eyes.
The couple exchanged their vows in front of a massive arch of soft natural greenery accented with randomly places clusters of white flowers.
Even Hailey and Connor were surprised as they departed their outdoor wedding ceremony in an explosion of confetti.
Guests made their way to the breathtaking Four Season’s ballroom, draped with shimmering white opaque fabric. Guests dined at round tables with cascading slate blue linen, clear Infinity Chairs and beautiful towering centerpieces that drew inspiration from Hailey’s bridal bouquet.
Hailey and Conner know their guests very well, so the key to everyone having an awesome time was the huge twenty-four-foot round, white dance floor placed in the adjacent space, drawing guests in with a fantastic band, photo booth, and chic lounge furniture.
Their Four Seasons Orlando wedding was filled with the perfect balance of beautiful details, unique elements and touching personal moments.
Guests ended their evening with late night drinks and snacks under a shower of shimmering gold confetti.
However, Hailey and Connor had one more surprise in store: A Grand Exit in an incredible 1958 Lincoln Continental MK III Convertible in a shower of fireworks.
Thank you to all of the vendors who collaborated with our Lisa Stoner Events team to create this amazingly memorable wedding!

Laura and Kevin’s Ritz Carlton Orlando Wedding
If you’re not new to this corner of the Internet, you’d know I’m actually a native New Yorker! Being a New Yorker comes with a love to bring a sense of flair for its various cultures into the event styling process. So naturally, when one of my couples shares my affinity for my home state, it makes our time together that much more enjoyable. Today on the blog I want to share one of those couples. Laura is a native Floridian, and Kevin is a native New Yorker. (Needless to say, he and I DEFINITELY got along!) The two tied the knot this spring with a New York’s Tavern on the Green inspired Ritz Carlton Orlando wedding.
The Story of Kevin and Laura
When Laura came to me for help planning her big day, she actually started the design process with me pretty conservatively. She expressed that her main priority were big, beautiful blooms. That’s when I knew the ladies at Velvet & Twine were the perfect florists for her. That is totally their aesthetic! However, once I got a feel for the story that was ‘Kevin and Laura’, the design process became so crystal clear to me. I combined the citrus hues in the florals with soft grays for a city feel that they both loved.
Laura and Kevin actually got engaged at The Ritz Carlton in Battery Park, and the two of them frequented New York to visit his family and friends quite frequently. Kevin has such an admirable sense of loyalty that many of his childhood friends served as groomsmen or wedding guests. Even the priest from his high school was a guest and had a role in their wedding ceremony!
Their Tavern on the Green Inspired Design
Because of their New York trips and love of fine food and restaurants, it became a no brainer. My vision for Laura and Kevin’s design ended up coming from Tavern on the Green off Central Park West in New York City. For their ceremony at the Ritz Carlton Orlando, it took place outside at the lakeside gazebo complete with the cutest couple, the most gorgeous blooms, and the prettiest light possible.
Meanwhile for their reception, I had trees brought into the ballroom. We draped the walls in ivory with panels of LED drape with a sheer illusion drape over that to create the look of stars outside. Their reception design was complete with their table as a focal point of the room with their gorgeous cake spotlighted behind them to make the gold detailing shine (almost!) as bright as their beaming smiles. We also had a great DJ with drummers and a saxophonist who strolled through the reception at dinner, much like at an outdoor restaurant. We even played a surprise song for Laura’s maid of honor. But, don’t forget the confetti cannons! (Can this be my signature wedding detail?!) Not only was it an amazing aesthetic touch, it took the dance party to the next level! Needless to say, Laura and Kevin’s wedding day was truly magical.
Congratulations, Laura and Kevin!
Like I’ve mentioned with previous blog posts, one of my favorite things about the design process is creating a space that is not only beautiful, but is an embodiment of who the couple is. (I mean, after all, it’s their day- Right!?) I loved getting the chance to bring a little bit of the big apple to Orlando with Laura and Kevin’s New York Tavern on the Green inspired design. Needless to say, the only thing shining brighter than the LED ‘starlight’ was our gorgeous couple.
Laura and Kevin, I am so honored that you chose this fellow New Yorker to be a part of your truly magical wedding day. You two are the sweetest couple. I very much enjoyed every moment of our time spent together. I can only hope to have more couples that radiate as much love as you do in the future. From one New York lover to another, I sincerely wish you both all the happiness and well wishes in the world as Mr. and Mrs.!
Thanks to all the vendors who came together to make this day truly unforgettable!

You may recall seeing the über chic blush and gold wedding of Caroline and Harrison in this previous blog post, but here it is living and breathing in this emotional wedding video feature!
I could listen to the powerful voice of Dr. Howard Eddington, who presided over their wedding ceremony all day long, as well as tearfully watch Caroline squeeze Harrison’s arm and their seemingly stolen glances at one another as they were getting married. *swooon!!*
Be sure to click on the HD option as you take a few minutes to enjoy this grand, yet meaningful and personal wedding day!
