I recently completed my seventh (!) annual Ritz Carlton Bridal Show. For the past seven years straight, I have been fortunate to work with incredible partners to bring this special event to life. Nearly every year, I wonder if we can top the year before, and somehow we continue to surprise and delight even ourselves!
This year’s show was The Glamour Gala– a name to which I said, “say no more,” *wink! Lori Maslowski from the Ritz Carlton Bridal “James Bond” as the theme. If you know me, you know I use themes conceptually rather than literally, so I took the idea and interpreted it for the event. Moody and sultry became my go-to descriptors.
When I spoke to the team at The Floral Way about the design concept, they thought tropical greenery with touches of floral would look great against the black backdrop I had planned. It was spectacular!
I then turned to Tabitha of FyerFly Productions to bring my vision of drape chandeliers to life! She had these custom made for the event, and what debuted was black drape styled in a way we have never seen before.

Unfortunately, not captured in the photos was a tunnel of sheet drape with gold shelving and candlelight which created intrigue and even more moodiness!
The Ritz Carlton Bridal, as always, created masterful cuisine and cocktails. The cocktail luge made of ice was an incredibly fun spectacle during the cocktail hour before the event. The ice “cake” was created in-house by a chef who is truly an Olympian in this field.
For the show itself, Solutions Bridal displayed an incredible array of designs from their Orlando boutique and Leonardo Fifth Avenue brought groom attire to the runway. The show was set to the tune of live music by Noire Productions.
When it came time for the post-runway dinner, the Ritz Carlton Bridal created several courses, each perfectly paired with wine and showcased through their impeccable service. Recently appointed Executive Chef Michelle Wick spoke to our esteemed guests about the menu her team had created for the evening.
And finally, a favorite of the evening by hosts and guests alike, the Vogue Weddings photo booth! I believe every attendee took a turn inside at one point!
It was a truly spectacular evening and I look forward to year eight! *wink
